UCC HAWAII also pours efforts into local cultural exchange activities in Hawaii and into publicizing Kona coffee. Every year UCC sponsors the popular Kona Marathon as well as the Kona Coffee Festival's Miss Kona Coffee Scholarship Pageant and golf tournament. Every year Miss Kona Coffee is invited to visit Japan, and she is actively involved in publicity campaigns to expand the market for Kona coffee.

The estate covers about 33 hectares in all. Excluding those occupied by gardens or escarpments, the sections planted with coffee trees (about 35,000) account for about 19 hectares. On the grounds is the Craighton House, which was built in 1805 as a summer home for the viceroy of Jamaica. Today, it is known as the "Great House" and has been designated by the national government as an important cultural property.
